Interpretation is one of the most interesting aspects of life. We, as a society, need to find our own interpretations in order to develop the relationships that we can use in the process of understanding. Through introspection, varied relationships and links present themselves. These relationships correlate directly with the objects and forms in the work. As humans traveling through life, we acquire and process information continually on a daily basis. Our global community has inundated our space with new and often times overwhelming stimulus; simplifying or breaking down the experience into association parts provides for interpretation and understanding. Living life equates to processing and embracing the parts that make up the whole in our personal world, as well as, the global community. Creating visual metaphors with recognizable objects and forms provides the opportunity to use interpretation to uncover the elusive understanding. The process begins with connecting thoughts or feelings with the inherent interpretative qualities of the objects. Constructing the visual depiction allows me to engage my understanding and need for making. Completing the circuit is the viewer and their consideration.
Essentially this process mirrors many aspects of living life and triumphing through survival.
The HUMAN CONDITION is one, which we never completely understand; we can only try.
The TIME is NOW!
